K.A. Group’s vision for “shaping our world for a better tomorrow” sets our direction on environmental sustainability. Our factories run on renewable hydroelectric energy. Our complete recycling program diverts paper, steel, wood, and electronic waste from landfills. K.A. Group is on the road to Net Zero. But it goes further than that; The products we manufacture can shrink the carbon footprint by up to 2.5 Times compared to traditional earthmoving equipment. Furthermore, scraper life cycle management calculates that our scrapers are recyclable to an impressive 97% by weight.

Mike Palitsky's sound business acumen and personability have propelled K.A. Group to new levels of growth. Mike has an innate ability to get the best out of people and motivate the team around him. With a driven purpose and through town hall events, Mike has created a family culture in the organization where we know our employees by name. This supports dedication and commitment to the company's long-term growth while building a better planet.
Mike is a CPA and holds a BComm Finance & Accounting degree from the University of Manitoba. Mike joined K.A. Group in 2013 with a focus on finance and was previously promoted from the organization's CFO position to become the President & CEO of the organization in 2019.
Chief Business Development Officer
Kelly Goossen's knowledge of the earthmoving industry is a critical asset for K.A. Group to continually listen to the voice of the customer. Kelly leads the business development, sales, and service efforts encompassing the external facing aspects of K.A. Group. Customer service is the top external business priority of K.A. Group.
Kelly is a dedicated and loyal employee who started as a forklift driver at K-Tec over 20 years ago and his passion for the business elevated him to higher achievements where he navigated his career into a leadership role. Kelly's vision for growth is evident in his creative ideas to expand into new business markets to provide ongoing solutions for the success of current and future customers.
Chief Operating Officer
Mathew Klassen is a motivated and experienced manufacturing planner who optimizes factory efficiencies for the K.A. Group. Mat’s passion for coaching and teamwork sets the direction and vision for every facility leader to accomplish their goals. This passion empowers, motivates and builds the foundation of the strong family culture that exists at every K.A. Group facility.
Mat has over 15 years of industry experience streamlining operations and has the desire to maintain world-class manufacturing processes by continuing to implement new technologies for skilled associates to master effectively.
Chief Financial Officer
Kaleem Ahmed joined the K.A. Group in 2022 as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer. He brings to KA Group recognized leadership and extensive experience acquired within the manufacturing, construction, public practice, and services industry. Kaleem is passionate to strive towards world class, industry best business practices. Kaleem is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s finance functions, including controllership, tax, treasury and financial planning and analysis.
Kaleem has previously worked for Magellan Aerospace, KPMG, PwC, amongst other global businesses. Kaleem is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and is also the associate member of The Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy, UK.
